Peacocks leggings and eye liner

The peacock’s
gorgeous colours
take me on a journey to
a land of purest fantasy
where tiny eyes find new
reasons to be joyful
where the goddess stands supreme
black shiny leggings
purple nails
a walking talking dream
wondrous lilac eye liner
that draws ones eager eyes
that captivates the heartstrings
and makes them realise
that all those Gothic poses
festooned with ebony
and darkest reds and bottle greens
are what I yearn to see
