The Veggie Planet 41 Jalan Melaka Reya Tel 06-2922818

The recently extended Veggie Planet
at Melaka Reya
its a place, to go
really attentive staff
there to look after you
and the food is made with love
and you soon know
I had the ramen soup
a vegan laksa
ample, and a tastebuds
Paradise
the lemongrass the chilli’s
the fabulously fresh spices
I mean to say
its very very nice
They call it Nyonya Curry
you don’t eat it in a hurry
you savour every mouthful
and imbibe
a glass of fresh rose tea
which did so much for me
really it is hard
to now describe
the blends of spice
the subtlety aforethought
this dish alone
it is artistry and will
conjure up such wonders
as you soak up on its pleasures
I then tried the dumpling soup
and let it spill
down my throat
again enormous subtlety
tofu sheets and mushrooms
in a bowl
genuinely well prepared
for certain let me tell you
just a peaceful kind of music for the soul
and all the while the music
in the background
softly sways the mind
and heart, as you
prepare to taste the egg free
fresh spring rolls
packed full of those special treats
that make the flavour poles
apart from any previous spring
rolls you might have had before
Veggie Planet’s food is really
out of this world, for sure
Desserts are a bit limited
but to round it off
I spied
Red bean soup with Black rice
and pandan deep inside
ginger and brown sugar
I was crying by this time
overcome by the chilli, the pandan
and the lime

My total Bill was 30.70 ringgit
and I was served by a charming trainee

finally I was taken back to my hotel
by one of the ladies who was coming to work
who asked her husband to drop me back to the Holiday Inn
what a service what a wonderful breakfast/lunch I had just
enjoyed. If you are in Melaka West Malaysia and need to be pampered
with wonderful food then go to Veggie Planet and immerse yourself
in their wonderful oasis
