The Purple Goddess

A berry beret
purple jeans
and lilac gloves
she wore
Hydrangea’s growing
on the wall
and black cats by the
door

The tree of Heaven
bursting
golden candles
firery red
to a haven I am sure
where we now were being led

Hazel eyes
ever so wise
realise
what for

she has that
heavenly aura
that gentle
soulful smile
to not see it
makes one poorer
and to see it
all that style
everything about her
is angelic and devine
her scent is woody sentiment
ylang ylang by design

her hands as soft
as blossoms
that billow
in a breeze
a smile that lights a million candles
on a million trees

a berry beret
heart of gold
and an auric sparkle
to behold
