Robina Hood (2nd attempt)

Robina Hood
her crossbow on her
shoulder
a cross word at the
crossroads
crossed her mind
she was the first real Highway
women ever
an angelic face
but what came from behind
was a fearsome smile
and a crack shot
flight of arrows
she stopped the rich
and took their lovely dosh
all the money
went to saving animals
that the chariots running
back and forth did squash
they drove fast, much too fast
where there were wild folk
and Robina
did her best to
thwart these souls
she wore black leggings
skin tight and great
hob nailed boots
a sort of Gothc mini laced with
thread
a strung up lacy bodice
of mauve velvet
and a peacock feathered
cap upon her head
many slowed down
rather than to face her angry wrath
and donated lots of silver
for her crew
a bunch of scented sirens
smiling satin souls
who each could aim their arrows
and most in fact were poles
better than that Robin Hood
whose publicity agent was
paid a lot of money
and in fact that was because
Robin was a rich guy
whereas Robina used it all
fighting to save the animals
from Londinnium to Gaul
