I just felt I belong

heighten’s the melody
stroking the strings
which to our heart brings
all the romance
flooding back
Aida has the drama
the integrity
the charm
the ability to capture hearts
and inwardly to calm
the broken hearted listeners
away from home, maybe
lost in a tangled web of life
