A letter from a man who got help

He wanted to thank you,
for seldom we find,
anyone really as perfectly kind,
you met this man
somewhere on the street,
and helped him to really
get back on his feet,
a sweet apparition,
a healer of souls,
he did progress rapidly,
filling new roles,
and your strength
and what was your beautiful power,
helped him to manifest
love more each hour,
that love brought him back
from the brink so to say,
it gave him his life back,
and showed him a way,
forward, its helped him,
his pain became less,
intense was his thought,
by reducing that stress,
you helped you were kind
and wonderfully sweet,
and he became the happiest man
in the street.
so thanks for that love
that you gave honestly
he is better for knowing you
his darling C,
he says you are friends,
and in all his life he
if he hadn’t met you
where might he be
he wanted to die,
you alone helped him, you
showed him the light,
and he will love you forever
starting tonight.

that was his letter he showed me today and I clearly
saw a better man go on his way,fleeter of foot with a smile in his eye, and a hope that he would give his new life a try
