Spirit Food

Wild berries from the forest
where fox and deer have trod
where the dew from heaven wetted
and sunk into the sod
within a thorny thicket
a secret place evolves
protected by the Bramble
whose mysteries it solves
the thorns do guide
the fire force
and of course where they do grow
lies the centre of many forces
its the flowers of 5, you know
apples from the garden
where the dragon rests his head
have the flowers of 5 and so of course
I suppose tonight, I’m led
to a perfect understanding
that pentangle’s do emerge
and this particular energy
can help one’s true soul urge
the juice made up of wildness
of the owls song
and the bat
of the badger
the nocturnal knight
searching for his rat
it can strengthen
all our arteries
and help the wondrous flow
of ideas that create
imagination, as we know
a crumble of both blackberries
and apples is to me
a wondrous force of nature
and the fairies all agree
