A study of a Jasmine bush in a storm Today

Light inflates the grayish sky
when huge stair rods do fall
rivers on my window pane
a bit too close to call
the wild plants of the meadow
tenuously display
their character, so often missed
but together they relay
a force field, and more
stalwart shrubs can buckle
on their own
subject to the varied gusts
of wind that now are thrown
raindrops run the gambit
hanging on the stems
the Jasmine has that kind
of form
and outwardly some gems
the Convolvus, adds stability
and the stems are able to
take whatever
Nature throws at them
all the day through.
