The Daily Holocaust

Mankind, is unkind
the most unkind of souls
that exist on this Planet
despite his controls
for animals earthlings
the evil, behind
closed slaughterhouse doors
the most evil you’ll find

whether Kosher or Halal
or whatever comes
animals die, their throats cut
and it numbs
a lot of us actually
what a false state
hurry up they say
more meat on my plate!

insensitive earthlings
consciousness sweeps
into oblivion
for most are “creeps”
unaware of the torture
and suffering of those
born to be different
and now in the throes

of a torrid existence
controlled by the men
the great corporations
pumped up on zen
on humiliation
on evil and pain
10,000 times a minute
blood falls like rain

mankind is unkind
and worst still creates
a holocaust daily
just to fill your plates
