Flytippers

Grassy seclusion
Peaceful repose
Along comes some bloke
Right under our nose
Stops his truck
Up with the shutter And wow!
A bloody great
Drum the size of a cow.

It rolls out and crushes
The dandelions there
Rusty already
How is this fair?
Leaking, it’s leaking
What, who can say
Up goes the shutter
And he is away.

Along comes this dog
It’s nose quickly burns
Its lets out a yelp
And rapidly turns
Sky daddles away
Then two lads both on bikes
Investigate clearly
As neither one likes
The smell, or the vapour
This drum now gives out
After kicking it twice
And pushing about
They leave it to leak
What is left
And we see
Dead birds all around
Where dead birds shouldn’t be

And what of the Fly Tipper
What does he know
Why did he do this
The old so and so
Does he have a family
And what would he think
If his kids came home
Burned or there was a link
With some garbage
Just chucked in the countryside he
Would be upset I reckon
Most definately

Fly Tippers really
Enough is enough
The weight of the Law
It has to get tough
Just walk lightly on earth
Think ahead and review
The dog, and the kids, and the birds
Please will you!
