The Corporates make
their killing
And we want more and more
White rice and white sugar
All the rotten stuff
Coloured sweets and
carbonated drinks
Can’t get enough!
Big machines in schools
flogging all this shit
so we become obese,
it just don’t cease
yea we’re not fit
Its everywhere you see it
In A & E loads there
Packed with that aspartame
it makes me fat, I swear
The teachers in the school
don’t care
my mum and dad don’t know
They watch Eastenders
every night and the
cola drinks just flow
We have bags of crisps
and puddings and dairy
products, we
Have childrens vitamins
every day and aspartame you can see
its on the label, on the bottle mum says that we should
if it is in the vitamins
mum says it is good
Advertising everywhere
its given out at school,
and when I said I thought
it made me fat
I was called a fool
The stuff comes from America
and so it must be good
I thought I’d check the internet
because I thought I should
And there I saw some
stories that the
artificial stuff
was horrible, was evil
and did make people rough
Articles on brain tumours
a big boil in your head
I thought that don’t sound healthy and looked some more
which led
Me further down the road
and I discovered that this stuff
was a biochemical warfare agent
Christ I’d had enough
Why was it in my vitamins
Why was it my drink
Why were they selling it at school
And in hospital, the link
Was clear a little research on the internet
and I knew
That aspartame was a shocker and it wasn’t good for you
But the big boys spent their money
they advertised it well
The Cola drinks and the cakes and sweets
Its what the shops then sell
And mum bought it in Tesco’s every time she went
They even sold it in the garage pounds and pounds we’ve spent
Buying what may turn out
to soon affect my brain
Its funny Dad is always
moaning that his head. aches again
He’s got Tinnitus
and he’s still so young
and he gets a shooting pain
Up is legs and up his back and it could be aspartame
So now I will not
drink the stuff,
I will not eat the cakes
I told mum
there are better vitamins
more expensive makes
I read that monkleys given it
had died and some went mad
With epilepsy or something
and I did, I did feel sad
And mice babies developed
holes inside their brain
and all this stuff had not come out
which I thought was a pain
I printed off the pages
and took them into school
My teacher told me clearly
this was written by some fool
Its a minefield and there
are minefields, for kid’s like me you know
Its in our magazines, on telly and in the cinema where I go
Its everywhere aspartame and real hard to avoid
But I don’t want a tumour in my brain, and I’m annoyed
That nobody can help me
nobody at all
Even the nurse who looks
for lice, she drinks it at school
So if Teachers do it, and Nurses do it, and parents do it, then we

Woodrow C. Monte, PhD, a food scientist, researcher, and Professor Emeritus of Food Science and Nutrition at Arizona State University, has just published a comprehensive book, “While Science Sleeps, a Sweetener Kills,” which is now available on Amazon.com.

Dr. Monte makes a compelling case that it is this process, and the disease that results, that is responsible for the epidemics of a variety of cancers, heart disease, diabetes, autoimmune diseases like Lupus and Multiple Sclerosis, autism, and Alzheimer’s disease that have exploded over the past thirty years since the introduction of aspartame in the summer of 1981.
The book also contains information and documentation showing that the product’s manufacturers and their friends in the Food & Drug Administration knew the dangers posed by aspartame, yet buried the evidence and released it for public consumption despite the risk. Since that time, adult onset diabetes has more than doubled worldwide, with diabetics dying from the major diseases of civilization at a much higher rate than the average population.
Deaths from Alzheimer’s disease, in which formaldehyde inside the brain destroys memory function, have increased 10,000% since 1981. Neural tube birth defects are up around 70% in the same period of time despite efforts to compensate with recommended folic acid.
Dr. Monte has decades of experience in food science and nutrition as a researcher, teacher, inventor, industry consultant and consumer advocate who is committed to food additive safety and the prevention of food borne diseases.
