Pain is pain whether inflicted on animals or human beings

Imagine the pain
Having your nose
seared off with a rusty old
blade burning hot
And you are a baby
Just out of your shell
This agony its hurts
Oh! its hurts such a lot
You then find yourself
Thrown down hard on the floor
Your nose bleeding and pain
like never before
Does anyone rescue you
no bloody chance
You were born in a factory farm
Lad
your dance
A chick fluffy chick
Every Easter when we
See the chicks advertised
By perhaps Cadbury
“Oh! look” we all say
what a cute little soul
And rush out and buy Cadbury’s eggs,
the real toll
Is daily the number of chicks
Who face death
With their little beaks seared
they,left fighting for breath
Pain is not just something
That humans feel
The chicks my God their pain
is equally real
Inflicted by man’s great machine
reason so
More chickens are packed into spaces
the flow
Is kept up, despite growth
without beaks no way
Can they peck at each other
Thats why they say
No Anadin or a soft bed
shock and awe
And a kick up ther arse
From the human whose war
Appears to be with his cute charges
and they
can expect more rendition
till their dying day
Remember this all of you
at KFC
or McDonalds or somewhere’s
else
Just try to be
In the same place as those birds
sufferring so
The chick in the advert
who had no time to grow
Billions of chickens are treated
this way
Its about time the carnivores
thought more
The day
Has to come when all animals
have certain rights
To live without torture
Carried out by sick shites
