A major energy source that causes
Earthquakes
That sounds a good idea for me and you
Gas escapes there’s methane in your water
And lots of lovely radiation too
Its just the thing that everyone is looking for
Earthquakes, Radiation
Water spoiled
Oh! and also environmental degradation
And millions of gallons wasted
but has oiled
the great machine of Government
who backs it
Economically it so appeals
Most are unaware of all its problems
But then again its oiling all the wheels
With 200 trillion cubic feet
in Lancashire alone
Be sure however bad it is
Science will have known
All that but charged with
putting out a positive reply
You can bet your bottom dollar
Its as good as cherry pie
South Africa has banned it
And America has seen
The environment has sufferred
Private land has been
Destroyed with streams of toxic
muck covering their land
And private farmers
are kicking themselves
For they didn’t understand,

all of this technology and its costing them so much
It pays to know whats happening
Its pays to stay in touch
You can’t believe the corporates
They lie, its money, they
Will tell you dry is wet
and then file it away
Government won’t help much
They see it as a way
Of collecting taxes
and so of course
we must have our say
Its a dirty form of energy
with consequences for
Anybody living close by
Thats for blooming sure
Sometimes its better to
use less than
just want more and more
Fracking is a word
That none should now ignore
