A Beagle Farm in Yorkshire

“A Nation of Animals Lovers”
“The Dog is a man’s best friend”
Is that why Eric Pickles
Is coming to the end
Of a huge deliberation
On whether he should say
A Beagle farm is perfectly in order
From this day.Up in good old Yorkshire
The Planners,East Riding Council
rejected it I know
But then an appeal it seems was lodged
And an outcome required which can’t be dodged
A farm though, it is inhumane,
the flow
of puppies through a place
designed for such research
vivisection, experimentation
The whole thing does besmirch
I believe it to be evil and despicable
And will carry on against this sick campaignBeagles are a strong and sound breed actually
And because of this are chosen for the task
of continued experimentation what a notion
Of farming them I mean, how dare they ask!
Eric Pickles or any Planner such a thing
its wrong and should be thrown out right away
A Nation of Animals Lovers
A dog is a man’s best friend
Come here boy you bring us joy
Expect a tortured end
Cut up for some perfume test
the highest bidder gets
a chance to cut up Beagles somebody’s sweet pets
Bits sliced off them, operations
at my heart string tugs
It tugs so hard it makes me sick
That men should stoop this low
To experiment on animals and really hurt them so
