Gone forever

The cove runs red
More souls are dead
Their loyalty breached
Tragically
Youth faded fast
The dye was cast
Taiji broke
A spell sweet folk
Obliterated from this earth
Imagine they knew what they were worth
So much love and so much care
Under the tarps we’re made aware
Torn and left
Feeling bereft
No Not even a prayer
Could save them there.
