23,000 seals all babies

Already in Newfoundland

8 days into, the great hunt

23,000 babies have been battered senseless

its no stunt

its murder on the ice floes

and Canada has the cheek

to turn around and say its humane

and monitored

they seek

to calm humanities heartbeat

its unbelievably cruel

these are nursing pups for gods sake

they break every rule

employing vicious louts to bludgeon

babies, their big eyes

looking up and begging

into bright blue skies

the terror that they feel

as one by one they are turned to jam

their brains torn from their little skulls

their eyes and nose they ram

down their throats its terrible

its horrific, its too much

and to say  that it is humane

well Harper’s out of touch

so out of touch he ought to be

made to go and see

watch them beaten into pulp

babies, the velocity

it makes a grown man bawl his eyes out

but these goons they don’t care

they beat and skin and scrape

the din the cries the lies are everywhere

23000 baby seals in 8 days

imagine that

the terror that is over whelming

its their skin and what little fat

they have to make their seal oil

their baby skins and meat

so the sealers and their women

can actually sit and eat

these tiny little babies

what a sordid lot

what a rotten thing they do

to go there I would not

never in a month of sundays

would I darken their sad shores

all that torment  all that murder

breaking all of natures laws

these were all created

by a greater god than they

and who the hell is Harper

when he ‘s out and about to say

Canada is doing well

its good to kill these seals

400,000 over all

its answers the appeals

for skins and oil and meat and all the

other by products they

get from all this slaughter

which of course has to pay
