Found in a slaughterhouse
Beyond belief
Terrible bondage
An unmentionable grief
There in a puddle
A body so small
Little pink tips
Helpless just all
Sadness and infamy
Downtrodden here
Cut from the mothers womb
Imagine the fear
The wickedness present
The butchers
Who thought
It was Alright to do this
A matter of sport
Tossed like some rubbish
Down onto the floor
A life force and angelic creature And more
Gifted with a heart and lungs and a soul
And left there to die
As some kind of goal
A masterful act
Of a criminal mind
Callous and harsh
It would be hard to find
Someone as evil
To own up and say
It was me that did this
And why the dog now does lay
In pure adversity
A victim of war
Creations great gift
Exchanged for pure gore
The mother was burned alive
To hear her screams
Imagine her offspring
In its saddest dreams
Recounting the cacophony
And the misery
Of hearing her mother
In such purgatory
We picked BLU BLU up
In a swaddling she
Was tiny and helpless
And hopelessly
We had to just love her
And cuddle her so
Feed her and give her such joy
And to show
Just how people treat dogs
With such cruelty
Never compassion
Nor empathy
They cause so much suffering
Lamenting and tears
It is insufferable
Down through the years
This little soul in the fullness of time
Recovered and grew
And loved life and would climb
And run and just put all the bad vibes behind
She would live being loved
With the fullest of mind.
Found by the angels
In hell on Earth
In a puddle of blood and guts
Of such great worth
A miracle puppy
Gifted to be
Grateful and special
In the canine tree
Able to forgive
Being right being sure
Discounting vindictiveness
For evermore
All of that spitefulness
Just washed Way
By the angelic charming
That just came that day
