A nightmare scenario (for geese and ducks)

*This is the 19th poem I have written on this subject and it is still being sold in Fortnum and Mason in London and widely over the internet
if you know anyone who is selling it or eating it boycott them.*

Foie gras I have written
about this so many times, and I
can’t believe I can write again
but I can and I will try
to impress on those who dare
to eat this vile and corrupt shit
this is a diseased liver
and where now does that sit
in the annals of satanic thought,
all that I can say
is it lives down in the fiery depths
its grotesque
that some would pay
for Fortnum and Mason
that snooty place
to lower their standards too
the depths of such depravity
it frightens me and you
because undoubted torture
and criminality
putting on a living earthling
such adversity
forcing a sentient soul mate
to undergo such pain
and profitting from its agony
means we must be insane

the hardship, the misfortune
to be born and come to be
in a foie gras farm
those birds live abominably
humiliated day and night
no let up to our shit
we inflict such egregious harm
and where now does it sit
its in wretchedness and misery
and severity as well
those birds would have been begging
to die and go to Hell
for the place that they experienced was
pitiless and austere
Draconian pandemonium
a place of utter fear

oppressive and coercive
the heavy handed git
who force fed fat and cornmeal
a tyranny, the bit
is between my teeth
for me to write about such evil
here
it really, makes my blood boil
that the rich choose to appear
to actually love to eat this
diseased liver and proclaim
that its the best thing, since sliced bread’
and then rapidly inflame
every sentient being that hears this
stuff from me
they may actually feel my anger
and passion instantly
the liver swells to ten times its size
and chokes them they
either die
by choking or stabbed in the throat the way
their killed, a sigh
a throat so ulcerated and bleeding
is there worse
premises to visit
I doubt that any curse
anywhere could ever be
as vile as foie gras is today
and those of you consuming it
in Hell friends you will pay

its grotesque that some would pay
