Swelling

I slept well just last evening
In hospital you see
Constantly woken up
By others
There one’s sanity
Is tested by the caring
Blood pressure salts and more
Rantings dreamy slumberings
And more and more

Lights on lights off
Interference
Need to have a pee
Great care with the bottle
Trying hard to be
Ahead of possible accidents
And patient care
Chortling and coughing
And just being aware

My feet are cold
The calling its slipped down
On the floor
I just feel uncomfortable
Not something to ignore
Keep a look out all the time
Nurse i manage to call one
She
Comes and puts a blanket
Securely over me
