Hunter

He holds his crossbow in the air
and poses like some creep
a soul lies dead in front of him
but does the blighter weep
no not on your nellie
he’s a hunting man
slopes about the forest
of him I’m not a fan

for what we see is arrogance
and ignorance, for he
has both in such abundance
he waits behind some tree
a coward who seeks the darkness
and the cover with his bow
and leaps out on an innocent
who didn’t really know

the callousness of human’s
the evil sick intent
to cut them down for pleasure
they feel that they were mean’t
to be the vile assassins
to be the slaughter men
to jump out of the darkness
really if and when

an innocent is feeding
in the place where it was born
they come wrapped in their camouflage
high fives and then their go’rn
they know not of the forest
and where the Deer’s may be
its fire their bloody arrows
and yet more travesty

The deer would just be grazing
not hurting a fly
observing and relating
to any passers by
offering some love in fact
and its degree of care
for thats how forest dwellers
survive, its because they share

its the hunters they are aliens
from a planet that is sick
they go around like soldiers
but its on the weak they pick
innocent souls who have no means
to fight back but just feel
the agony of having been let down
for that is real

The little dear had little fear
and now lies on the ground
the hunter with his bow aloft
in brutality is drowned
he’s a mindless sad creation
and its reprehensible to note
that his judgement it was shot away
for all he did was gloat

Some mother did 9 months for him
I wonder if she knows
all that pain and suffering
it manifests and shows
he has become a murderer
a nasty rotten sod
who seeks to cut down innocence
and then pray to his God
