Existence was a giveness
That was until TAIJI
A little town on the west coast
Of Japan
Where we now be
We felt we were immortal
In our ocean paradise
In pods our extended family
Then someone rolled the dice
And we of course found chaos
And panic and we knew
Our time on earth was over
Not knowing what to do
Many of us were slaughtered
But just a few like me
Were considered rather attractive
For training in the sea
We could be of great value
Our future would unfold
Their spell would be released on us
We could be worth our weight in gold
That promised us a future
When others of the pod
Were already hacked to pieces
And visiting our God
We were still in sea pens
With the ocean at our backs
We had some authenticity
But no one dare relax
An irreconcilability
For nothing seemed the same
Yes we still were swimming
But aware that we were game
Freedom to be what we were
Had left us that we knew
We had become the TAIJI slaves
Doing what we were told to do
And no more fresh fish could we catch
We lived for the frozen kind
Kept in ice and buckets
That truly blew our mind
So frosty were they actually
Thawed out and pumped with drugs
A lot of them were crawling
With all sorts of bugs
The greatness of the ocean
We lost on that day
Sharing a tiny sea pen
It really is no way
To live it’s not even existence
It’s a cage within the sea
What we really experience
Is a lack of enormity
They spray us In the morning
And sometimes late at night
They feed us all these frozen fish
With pills most of them white
Goodness knows what drugs they give us
They make us feel rough
The arrogance of dosing us
We all have had enough
The japs are really smelly
They eat sashimi here
Probably some of our family members
It is very clear
They do it out of devilment
That much we do know
They are torturers and murderers
And their evilness does grow
It’s true we hang together
And sometimes we embrace
But we are slowly dying
We know this is the case
If we are sold to some where
Far off we shall have to go
Maybe to Arizona
Or to China we don’t know
We had a holistic life we did
And now it’s gone away
We cannot exercise ourselves
And do not feel like play
We are quick to feel depression
And get sun burnt very quick
There is no depth to dive to
And that is why we feel sick
Japan is so obnoxious
Profiteers they be
They derive the profit
From our tears eventually
Really such disharmony
A world of disarray
No labyrinth of corals
Where we can hide away
The turbulence and frenzy
It’s a harum scarum place
If this is our beginning
It is a big disgrace
The monotony of living
The endlessness is here
Drugged up to the eyeballs
And all living in fear
Yes drugged up to the eye balls
Please get us out of here!!!!
