The ignorance at Sea World
Is costing lives and they
Can’t accept its happening
Creation takes away
Its angels those they captured
Or bred from others who
Dream of being in the ocean
As so many do
It isn’t just the dolphins
That are sick the management too
Their arrogance has sprung a leak
they are clueless now to do
5 souls have given up the ghost
In just 8 months we hear
This last victim just 12 years old
Fed on dead fish and fear
They are dealing there with noble souls
Whose ancestry is long
The ocean provides them so much life
Their immunity is strong
But captured away from the social structure
And, made to perform
Silly human tricks so as
The numbskulls just might warm
To them and buy more Chinese gifts
In their pleasure park
Sea World are a corporate
Its where they make their mark!
They are there just to make money
And take advantage of us all
As to humans it doesn’t matter
But sea creature’s as a rule
Live their lives in ocean pods
In a world of life below
With absolute freedom to express
And to stay in the flow
Miles they swim together
Chase boats they love to play
But in concrete tanks
Of chlorine and screaming kids all day
The public with their dirty hands
Touching them as well
We really are a conceited lot
Putting them through hell
And this Pacific white sided soul
Sunk into the depths and died
SEA world do not know the reason
They are mystified
They shouldn’t be these animals
Are depressed as they can be
Fed on frozen fish and drugs
And treated carelessly
What is wrong with the government
Who allow this kind of thing
Corporates making millions
And probably they swing
Contributions their way
Statesman they are not
Its you scratch my back
I will scratch yours
And the voiceless can go to pot
All these bloody theme parks
Fixed term contracts for
Underpaid officials
So many by the score
But what are they creating
A vast amount of sales
Of furry toys from China
We all are off the rails
Wild animals need their habitat
And we have to keep it clean
Not use it like our dustbin
Not be so bloody mean
Plastic bags in their trillions
Made via big oil of course
Slicks are coming often
Pollution had by force
Of negligence and arrogance
The great disease we see
The apathy is everywhere
The incuriosity
We are all taken for granted
Its the balance sheet and more
The margins and the bottom line
The voiceless they ignore
Of course they are good at green wash
On their web sites people paid
To actually come up with the lies
Its their stock in trade
Everybody’s doing it
Smokescreens everywhere
The suffering keep suffering
Thats why it isn’t fair
Cetaceans need the ocean
cetaceans need the sea
Not some dreadful concrete bath
Blue coloured and constantly
Adding cleaning chemicals
And prozac and the rest
In reality watery zoo’s
Are places that now test
The wild souls true abilities
Their immunity and more
Their emotions and their psyche
That all of us ignore
Those who buy a ticket
For the artificial sea
A tiny pool with the man made wall
Its notwhere they should be
Never never ever
Live wild souls they are
Prisoners who live in fear
Frustration makes them scar
And Rake each other in the process
We are a gormless bunch
We go in there and pet them
Whilst we are eating lunch
Our filthy oily hands
Leave marks on the angels skin
Do we care we bought our ticket
So let it begin
The ticket says touch dolphins
And that is what we do
And the state of some kids these days
I bet they pinch them too
My heart goes out to wild souls
Thrown into our tanks
Made to work the public
And satisfy the banks
Fed on what is unnatural
No life for them to share
No variety nothing natural
Of course it drives them spare
We are killing them with ignorance
Making up stories so we
Can make a lot of extra dosh
From the victims in the sea
Of course we have objectors
Tree huggers and the rest
Of course they make a lot of noise
But are all futile at best
Maybe thats the story
You tell yourselves in Bed
But we are here to stay and we
Are driven and are lead
We love the dear cetaceans
Are really truly care
And we shall all be fighting hard
Until SEAWORLD isn’t there
Poor dart we hope he rests in peace
And gets his chance to shine
We hear his old friend Betty
Her health is on the line
The cruelty is evident
They sacrifice so much
Their payment should be freedom
But then these parks are out of touch
