Pain

PAIN is really strengthening not weakening
Pain can be the banister that you hold
It boosts your true resolve
It helps you to evolve
It warms you if the weather has turned cold

It is a part of you its what you are made of
It comforts you to know you are alive
It slows the gait and probably thats a good thing
For out and about its more likely you will survive

Miss pain and I the only lass i sleep with
She comforts me and helps me now to rest
She is always with me whatever hour of day
Or night
Probably she feel she needs to test

My ability to walk upon the highway
To use my eyes and ears good senses that
Can see me walk to safety which is so very important
Helping me to know where I am at

Pain can really teach the way a women can
Slow down use your wits the best idea
Pain is something all if us will go through
And many will I suspect cast a tear

Or two it really doesn’t weaken one
If anything it will keep you wide awake
Where ever the pain is sitting
You will find its only fitting
To just embrace it for everybody’s sake
