The albino dolphin
Injured by outboard
A tumultuous ocean highway
The ants and their corporate masters
are marching
Around in circles where they
Are reclaiming land
Which now they understand
Is a positive but we all pay
Disney was culpable
At Penny’s bay
The Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao bridge
Was way
Off the grand scale of things
But we are blind
Ferry noise
Mud pits
We leave sense behind
Contamination
From the third runway
Removes the soul
The dolphins have voices
Still the ants some extol
The virtues of the infrastructure
really On how
We flourish as ants
It’s the great big cash cow
For the corporate banker
The vast profiteer
They know about profit
And cause lots of fear
Dolphins live close to the
Works they now plan
So many victims
And how will this pan
Out
Soon a tunnel
The ocean must share
In North East Lantau
It just isn’t fair
There will be fatalities
Dolphins they know
Interaction with ants
And they will grow
Pollutants impair
The dolphins will stress
Their reproductive cycle
Is in a mess
Such pressure applied
To the angels who see
The ants marching onwards
Into the sea
Soon it will all be converted to land
Something the dolphins do not understand
We cannot carry on with this theft
And this pain
The ants and their hordes
Somehow they deign
To ruin the environment
Just everywhere
Causing the wild souls
Doom and despair
And it doesn’t make sense
At the end of the day
For each has it’s own
So why should wild souls pay
The ants march in circles
And blindly won’t see
That the dolphins were there first
And there they must be
Left,given credence
The connection are ours
We share this planet
Each has it’s powers
Each has it’s reason
To be where it was born
For to take over everything
Brings it’s own scorn
In the end it’s our children
That suffer they will
We had the illness
And we give them the pill
We make them suffer
For the vagaries we
Selfishly mastered
And thought we could be
Immensely able to do what we like
But we can’t and we shouldn’t
We best take a hike
Away from the ocean
Away from the sea
Away from their habitats
Now take that from me
