Baby powder

When I was a little child
A baby my ma ma
Bought some baby powder
Where ever babies are
Powder for their bottoms
Was the thing to buy
But now we learn
It was potentially dangerous
So really not a star
No None whatsoever
Talc was used and some
Asbestos inadvertently
Too, that thought did numb
Science and consumers
A contaminant alas
Unseen in the product
But genuinely there enmasse

Causative of ovarian cancer
In the US now we hear
40,000 law suits
Seemingly appear
The company withdrew the product
And the reason given was
Nothing to do with the asbestos
Something else because

Lack of sales or investment
But surely they must know
The contaminate was frightening
To users

Then they switched to corn starch
Another frightful thing
Much of corn is genetically modified
Once again it does bring
Negatives to my table
GM products, I
Boycott so to consider it

Again I do ask why

Science goes down this road
GMP

ought to be
Kept away from babies products
If feels so clear to me
It’s absolutely unclear
And we all should stay away
From Frankenstein foods and powders
Used along the way

Johnson and Johnson Baby Powder
Now in a white plastic bottle
