Hammered

The evil that is leather
So many wear it, they
Forget that it’s somebody’s skin
And look aghast that’s if I say
What it is, and how it comes to be
What they all wear
Then they get all shitty with me
With faces like despair

Fur it’s clear hags around
Wear it because they feel
Comfortable they forget the creature
It belonged to
Despite it being real
Leather skirts, are all the rage
Cow, sheep, Deer and Goat
All it’s skin torn off its back
To give us stuff of note

Durable and spot cleaned
It’s processed naturally
It means it is a skirt of death
Repellent if you ask me
Cowhide sheepskin Deerskin
High end fashion they
Murder cows and sheep and deers
In their ugly way

Goat skin which has lanolin
All there naturally
Giving a soft and supple feel
To the clothing seemingly
Wool another cruelty
That many people miss
Sheep goats llamas alpacas rabbits
Camels gets kiss
Lots of little, animals sincerely, we Don”t stop
Minks fixes Chinchillas
Pigs squirrels pop
Animals all at varying amounts
And human want a spell

Beaver tails for shaving brushes
Art brushes we hear
of sable
The pashmina and of course
the angora and the mohair
All animals at source

Witnessing pure agony
Fashion and design
How the animals suffer
The creatures born Divine
And it’s getting tougher
A built in, in refrain
So many babies hit the dust
A most obnoxious drain
On animal life
