The meadow lands of Merrow

The  meadow lands of Merrow

where cows and sheep do graze

low lying a touch boggy

perrenial grass a phase

of lustrous leaves, and wilder herbs

plucked out by thought and kin

inherent in domestic flocks

where healing doth underpin

Larks and meadow mushrooms

pipits and wagtails

some pretty meadow saffron

and of course the meadow Rue

a meal of grass and holistic fayre

The memory of mind

domestic cattle’s intuition

for the  wild plants that they find

and  feel healthier for the experience

the extraction with the cud

The meadow lands of Merrow

They all improve the  animals  blood
