Tears and my food

Females and males
That happen to be
Food for the conventional
Yea family

Cows give us milk leather
And meat
Chicks are given life
But if they are male
Down the street

To the grinder
They are sexed
On their conveyor belt ride
Chirping for Easter
To the other side

Straight into the grinder
They become slop
Feather and bits of shell
It doesnt stop

The cow a proud mother
Raped by some arm
A plastic sheath
Some bloke off the farm
Not an ounce of compassion
No respect for females
When the baby arrives
Thats when it all fails

Kidnapped our babies
We carried them long
And what humans do here
Ofcourse it is wrong

Dosed up on chemicals
No fresh grass here
Mastitis and agony
Yea its all clear

Nobody loves us
Nobody cares
Then we are milked and milked
So much it scares

Then we’re made pregnant
No love in sight
Raped by the arm
Each day feels like night

Babe comes its kidnapped
And Carted away
We can just sob
If we can, find some hay

Now its live exports
Trucked to the port
Hauled individually by crane
I would have thought

Some other means
But no empathy
Just hauled like a sack of shit
All swinging free

People can see us
Dropped into the hold
Which has damaged my legs
And I feel cold

It must be the shock
And no food or drink
And of course no respect
I feel myself sink

The journey is loathsome
We rock too and fro
Falling about
This is no way to go

Its getting hotter
We smell the sand
The gutters the dockside
Soon we make land

Roped up and led off
Into the hot street
Some guy with a machete
Cuts off my feet

The agony reaches my heart
And my head
And the last thing I see
Is, as I fall dead

Drowning in my own blood
Thats what they do
Animals rights
Or wrongs

Whats your view?
