Financial gain is the ultimate experience
Controlling Nature seems to be the thing
Die offs happen there are many reasons
The ocean’s very existence though is king
It occupies much of the planets surface
Much if it unexplored its great depths lost
Humanity is resolute but arrogance is primary
And GAIA stands supreme and bears the cost
The influence of humans on society
On environments and animals is great
As we expand our privilege to conquer
To alter boundaries and replicate
Reefs and reclamation projects
Worldwide
We fail to feel the energy we change
We do not have the creatures sensitivity
In many ways such an artificial range
Cannot pick up on the true sensation
We manufacture things our reason why
To increase markets and to work the corporate state
And so what if a few fish have to die
Its not the people who accept and know things
About the ocean and the creatures there
Its big oil and big pharma and the governments
Who work their magic to create despair
Its true that chem trails fall back in the ocean
That wide expanse of life absorbs it all
FUKUSHIMA’s vomit has been massively imbalancing
And few around are prepared to hear the call
Cesium and strontium and trittium
Probably plutonium as well
And all the other terrors that we introduce
Its not just Pluto that cane out of Hell.
By-catch is another likely reason
A lot of pirate fisherman do seek
To steal a bounty from each others stock piles
And by catch truly can now gsurely reek
Havoc in the oceans and cause die offs
Another possible reason js that we
Humans feel the beed to work the sea beds
Introducing oysters and they be
Resident on artificial mud mounds
Tbis is in essence a financial need
The fact that we have destroyed the natural habitat
And feel within us that we can succeed
By re establishing habitats where oysters
The great PAcific Oyster can take hold
What we do is imbalance GAIA’s world of wonderment
Our arrogance you see on it we are sold
Baycrete is the answer it is concrete under sea
Mans attempts to create a reef
Could increase acidity
We dabble with our sciences
The bio diversity
Is far more complicated
Based on aeons complicity
Gill nets seine nets long line evil
This is what we do
Cruise ships dumping rubbish
Black bags in the blue
Radio active drums are dumped
And plastic everywhere
Oil slicks do not go away
And run offs yea we share
Man many reasons why ocean angels die
Beach themselves and give up living
And though we wonder why
Out attempts at changing eco systems
Much is bad
Underwater oil exploration
Is now terribly sad
We must never take for granted
The miracle of life
Hiw changing things below the sea
Can cause immense strife
As we become more digital
More mechanical we drive
A wedge between us and the creatures
And to survive
Effortlessly together
In our paradigms we may
Have to change back and be human
And kind and then the day
Might dawn on us the need is there
To practice what we preach
To find more time for Nature
And never over reach
For years there have been die offs
The prophecies of old
But my gut reaction to all this
Is that now we have been sold
A mechanistic future
With machines that lack our traits
Of emotion and devotion
We have opened the final gates
