Before you buy that bottle of milk that cheese that thickened yoghurt

Unseen they suffer
Unheard they cry
They bleed alone
Before they die
Ask yourselves
Why should this be
You drink their milk
But still don’t see
Their agony
Their lonely wait
Torn from their mothers
You changed their fate
You scoff their yogurt
Eat the cheese
Add double cream
To your fresh cream teas

You sit there knocking the dairy back
As the little calf feels the attack
It’s throat is cut
And it bleeds out, it
Kicks it’s legs just a bit
Wonders why it came to this hell
Where human beings want to sell
The milk they steal from babies and
Sacrifice them which ain’t grand
But this is what alas they do
Kidnap the babies one and true
Some become veal
Most are killed
But all of those babies blood is spilled

And it’s so frightening it’s so sad
They love their mothers
They wish they had
Time with their mother
Their mother does too
But the human beings
Don’t have a clue
Don’t care at all
That’s the score
And millions are dying
And millions more

So stop drinking milk that belongs to baby animals
Ungulates with bovine growth hormones that you will never need
