Octopus

What we see is obvious

its obvious to all

these pitiless wretches

call themselves the sentient

but fall

into their own abyss

there’s no logic there alas

these diner’s are just  callous

and bowelless

their morass

they call their brains

are invaded

with a merciless display

of maggots and the vilest shit

that ever came our way

there just are no excuses

for what these dark sods do

their  true transgression into gloating

its abhorrent, and  its true

its distasteful  and so sickening

men and women who

are gurgling with laughter

but all are clueless to

they watch an innocent being

being, consumed by their fire

holding down its agony is obvious

its dire

if you watch this film you

can feel it

squirming

whining grizzling screaming

moaning and where it does sit

its fate beneath the hands

of those torturers who dream

blaise to its agony

inexorable it doth seem

it writhes  it sighs it so bemoans

its plight upon the pan

the griddle flames a burning

and these fiends, each man

gurgling and chortling and laughing

with great joy

as a living breathing creature

dies

and how they employ

their skills to so prepare it

by holding forcibly down

as it begs the universe  aloud

and in its juioces drown

the harshness and the rancour

the vindictiveness,  we feel

I deplore their fucking attitude

this is to be their meal

it was selected to aid  digestion

their nutrition  they did choose

to brutally torture  the animal

for them it was good news

its fresh they add the salt so calmly

laughing as they go

lifting its body and prodding it

and digging it, they know

they are filming it, their grossness

the whole wide world can see

the wicked loveless pathetic

malignant vulgarity

and no doubt if they were thinking

at all about the soul

the victim now before them

the irreversible control

it died and therefore felt no pain

just a nervous system fault

Science and Biology

Don’t you dare exalt

the principles of heaven

of life, of profundity

laced with corporate baselessness

and culpability

all animals have feelings

all creatures great and small

we sang those hymns remember

all of us at school

or were we being brainwashed

as children  maybe so

but this octopus and all the animals

we eat we have to know

we are causing them great

consternation

and they die in agony

and who are we to enjoy their death

and now  laugh  so ecstatically

ignore their  lamentation

the predicament they are in

in fact go out of our way

to actually underpin

to make it worse not better

by holding their body down

forcing it closer to the fire

a sort of  numinous crown

we place down on the vanquished

one

the craven spirited mob

all they are fucking interested in

is filling up their gob

they are a complete travesty

of sentience today

flippant reckless  ill considered

all along the way

indifferent to the others

completely unconcerned

they watch and seemed consumed by it

as the octopus was burned

and, they show their faces

this is abuse on a scale

worthy of all, their arrests now

for they create a trail

of ugliness and hopelessness

for all of human kind

having had to watch this

and being unable to save

it really blew my mind

I watched it  just last evening

and that soul appealed to me

frying on that griddle

its expectancy

its agony the violence

it got into my soul

it gripped every emotion

a kind of mind control

and we must now remember

that othersdo this stuff

and that animals have feelings

and they all have had enough

every single creature

that you eat every day

has suffered lamentably

when they took away

it soul urge and its life force

it wanted so to live

but had to suffer terribly

and its body had to give

whatever you intend to do

my words are mean’t to make

remember each mouth full of flesh you chew

its another life you take

and karmically you are overdrawn

the bank of life is soon

compounding the interest

where your ashes will be strewn
