“Bomi”

Born in South Korea alas

in the countryside and she

raised  for meat

it does unseat

people here to see

dogs so badly treated

but then the whole world see’s

animals mistreated

and malnourished if you please

mange and swelling and neglect

forced this poor soul to be

so swollen she could not get

into her house

so sadly

she limped about just in the yard

and was seen by a famoius star

who helped  get her  to America

no matter how far

now as beautiful as ever

running every day

as healthy as you would expect

because someone did pay

helped her to recover

and become what she could be

it shows you she was lucky

for millions never see

beyond the  pain and torture

they go to their deaths and

perish in the boiling pots

that we  can’t understand

why we feel the way we feel

because still in Korea

they love to eat dogs

and they do it and its very clear

Bomi was a lucky girl

she made it out and she

 is now as large as life of course

with a life long gurantee
