Its a war zone out there
fracking causes
consequences
that few may see
clawing gas out of the deep shale
pulls up so much shit and we
find it getting into water
find it permeating air
really it is all around us
causing children much despair
Doctors being warned to pipe down
Big energy are brutes indeed
cancers are a cost to many
in the filth so many bleed
just a few screw off the profits
not a prophet to be found
they are just a bunch of evil
really messing with the ground
we don’t want the natural gas
we don’t want the trucks all day
we don’t want gas in our water
listen to what the people say
we don’t want them drilling under
our house or under our town
we don’t want the bloody sink holes
we don’t want to all be drowned
in fracking water fracking awful
fracking hell it not our scene
go and frack your own backyards
we want to stay green
Cameron and all his party
tell us we a all have to be
bowing down to those arch frackers
to us its very obviously
they are ruining our sweet heritage
our water and our precious air
they can keep their drills and fracking
and stick it where they stick their air!
