The last mistake I will ever make

Out in the forest
thick thick snow
a vile wind tearing
far from slow
a blackening vista
a sombre gaze
going back to the cave
its was one of those days
I kind of nodded off I suppose
something flipped at the end of my toes
a crushing strap tore into me
I was trapped and hanging from a tree
one of those man traps
and this was it
I knew they were out here
I seen the shit
and now it had got me
I was done
already my eyes were tired
and none
of the blossoms above me
could I see
my smell was also leaving me
I was fading fast but no pain at all
I cried out giving an eternal call
trapped in the snow half way up a tree
bleeding oh! that is the end of me
that trapper man that bastard clown
I’d like to bloody pull him down
and chew his kneecaps and raise his fears
and tie his intestines around his ears
but its just a dream but a lovely dream
I could turn that bastards eyes to cream
so many of my family killed
and now my own blood this sod’s spilled
