Orca’s ( The biggest Dolphin in the sea)

At Puget Sound
there’s great respect for Orca’s
the killer whale
a truly wondrous soul
in the past
there were some nasty
happenings
and mothers and their babies
felt the blast
and all that ugly spirit
from the humans
who have it in their heads
that wild one’s, must
be captured and be made
to live their lives out
in concrete tanks
which to my mind is unjust

this is a creature of the ocean
a wild and loving family member
who
must hate to be split up
and live away from home
let’s realise for gods sake how they do

love the family members they exist with
and capturing them and taking some away
hurts the family,
it really causes them a lot of grief
this is something somebody must say

But the people of the world
may see it somewhat differently
and its maybe not the world
of roaming free
teaching them to do tricks
for an audience
and keeping them in dull captivity

the cries of course so sensitive
these earthlings
designed to know the freedom
and enjoy
their prowess and their hunting
and their family trips together
and the evils of containment must annoy

all those years ago a pod
and a reunion
the puget sound roundup
it was called
a mother died and several babies
its was all hushed up
out to sea the bodies
all were hauled

weighted down with rocks
the hope that no one
would ever realise
the tragedy
but it has come to light
the lamentations
and those involved still
pine amazingly

The killer whale of course
has an intelligence
in many ways its advanced
compared to man
it has a sensitivity
much greater than we think
and this is where in fact
it all began

the idea that an orca
would be special, to put on, display
and do sweet tricks abroad
the public would pay lots to see them leaping
and captured orca’s performing for reward

and so around the world we see these sea parks
Dolphins, Orca’s seriously they’re there
and life inside these wretched tanks
instead of in the ocean where there is the notion
we should share

humility with them and stop this false world
imprisonment is what it really is
taken from one’s family and paraded to the
human world
really truthfully its not the biz

and human beings ought to now wake up to this
boycott all these places from the start
remember the wild earthlings need the ocean
so please I beg of you think with your heart
