a clarion call which only the wild souls can hear

She blows her horn
and tries to warn
her wild wolves
for we know
they are being
murdered every which way
and the threat to them does grow
the ranchers and the hunters apparently
believe
the wild is there to now
be tamed
and to do this
they must achieve
the death of all things wild
and introduce
instead the cow
for the cow provides
the milk of human kindness
the meat that proves its true
and the money that’s important
thats the simplistic view
the cow is all important
whatever else they do
it becomes the new cash child
not the wolves they’re in the wild
that has to be the considered view
now fed on synthetics
and killed before its time
man creates the reason
its part of the march of time
