Uranium Mining on sacred First peoples Land

Our burial sites for a thousand years
Your mining site for a few
We fight to protect our rights
That of course we lose to you

We are the indigenous
The people of this land
You are the dominant culture
You think yourselves so grand

When this land is plucked and flattened
When the Uranium is mined
When you hand us back that toxic dump
This is what we find

Our burial sites of a thousand years
Destroyed by your lusty ways
500,000 years alas
not some passing phase

Our burial sites
Our beautiful land
Torn up and wasted by
The JCB’s and the Dump Trucks
And now our children die
