The aquifers are at great risk

Aquifers in California
Have recently found that they
Having fracking water in the wells
So says the EPA
Asking for a written report into this vile affair
When everybody’s water is suspect
They don’t care

These fracking energy corporations
Tie us up in knots
Most of them cajoled and promised
All run by big shots
Exempted from laws of the land
And given powers to be
What they bloody felt like
That’s if you asked me

If I polluted half of California
Then I would get a stay in prison they
On the other hand get bloody bonuses
People are paid to look the other way
Given the immunity from all the regulation
We are told to bow our heads
For they are our true salvation

One day people will wake up
When it is too late
When they have lost their precious homes and lands
For that is the trait
They wake up and they realise
Laws were set in motion
To basically issue injunctions
And a free promotion

Employment it was set to rise
The local economy too
But when’s they fuck with our water
And our air
What can we do
