What have Rats to do with coffee

Human beings, most now are just out of it
They do not see the writing on the wall
Take those who like the bitter taste of coffee
Its all the rage, there’s shops in every mall
Serving every method to present it
And many seek to drink it everyday
So dumb and sleepy are they when they fall out of their beds
That they need a pick me up or so they sayBut the holier than though use the decaffeinated
Well let me tell you how conventionally
They took the precious caffeine out of coffee
With Trichloethylene, no you don’t see
But Rats were given doses equivelent to 50 million cups and every day
Until of course they pegged it and found Heaven
Actually a nicer place to stay

Some might say their low life pests whats wrong with that
Well I don’t believe creation thought it through
A rat takes quite a lot of thought its a miracle in itself
And my feelings are that it wasn’t done for you
What animal earthlings undergo so humans can drink, can wear their creams and potions and
Use their cleaners polishes and God knows what
Well I don’t think that God really had planned
In Laboratories they are tortured and they are poisoned, given dire disease and every day
Scrutinized and sanitized but never prized
until of course all of them pass away.

With organic decaffeinated coffee this vile process
Is not allowed and so what they have done
Is remove the caffeine using steam so actually no rats
are slaughtered in the process so more fun
With no rats being tortured and no artificial fertilisers obviously the price is higher than
Conventional which is mucked about with chemicals
creating products clearly lost on man
