No cow has ever deserved
\nthe latest contraption that we see
\nto do away with a precious soul
\nto transcend all constancy
\nby creating such a wicked vile
\ncontraption bullt in Hell
\nthis is an insult for us all
\nas anyone knows well<\/p>\n
the cows are pushed and prodded
\nand made to enter they
\nare tender soulful creatures
\nthis is not the way
\nto encourage them to sacrifice
\nthemselves so we can eat
\ntheir bodies and can use their skin
\nthis is not discreet<\/p>\n
in anyway its devilry
\nits transgression and its dark
\nno wonder they baulk when seeing it
\nfor they will leave their mark
\ntheir blood their snot their mucus
\nwill coat the inner sleeve
\ntheir tears their fears their urine
\nnobody can believe<\/p>\n
what we design for innocents
\nand how we make them feel
\nwe frighten them and aggravate
\nNo we don’t conceal
\nanything, its heinous
\nour terror they absorb
\ntheir guiltlessness so obvious
\nwho was it who would daub
\nthe vile contraption with their
\nsoul
\nthis cylindrical device
\nthey step into a revolving box
\nand are slaughtered in a trice<\/p>\n
but someone a real human
\nwas paid a handsome sum
\nto sit and design this evil
\njust to watch it leaves you numb
\nto shackle and to besmirch
\nto torture and to try
\nand make their passing
\nfrightening
\nmy question really why?<\/p>\n
this is a joyful ungulate
\npeace loving after all
\naffectionate with feelings
\nand gentle as a rule
\nto cynically grab hold of it
\nin a scurrilous kind of way
\nand insult its very being
\nin a rancorous display<\/p>\n
is to my mind without
\nthought or care
\nit is spiteful and for me
\nso far over the proverbial top
\nits unlikely it could be
\nfurther, to embitter
\na poor soul in this way
\nbecomes an affront
\nand they take the brunt
\nof our clearly sick decay<\/p>\n
and I look at a cow
\nin that awful box
\nits there before my eyes
\na photograph of this evil
\nand don’t believe the lies
\nthat the pristine trays
\nin supermarkets portray
\nunder pink lights
\nthese cows are murdered
\nblatantly,
\nthe poor sweet soul
\nnow bites
\nthe box the air the
\npre conceived someone
\nwho is there
\nthis is the wrath of evil
\nthis is the vile despair
\nthe terrible emotion
\nthe end is near and she
\nwants to see her babies
\nand clearly wander free<\/p>\n
again out in the pasture
\nbut this never will take place
\nshe’s bleeding from great gaping wounds
\nher trachea does grace
\nsome horrid bin now on the floor
\nand her throat has been cut across
\nthe agony and the certainty
\nas her head she tries to toss<\/p>\n
watching this I vomit
\nher eyes roll to the sky
\nshe’s drooling no one’s fooling
\nme how she does cry
\nblood pours from each orifice
\nshe defecates as well
\nthe shock the awe the horror
\nthis for me a gruesome spell<\/p>\n
I never will forget those eyes
\nthat aching sad embrace
\nthose heart wrenching sounds she uttered
\nand that sad look on her face
\nshe was clearly lost completely
\nin the darkness of it all
\nand watched for a few moments
\nas her own blood hit the wall<\/p>\n
like a geyser so soon over
\nlimp and lifeless shaking so
\nshe sunk onto the levers
\ninto the spirit world did go
\na form still hot with energy
\nnow released and cut a bit
\nand hung up on the gantry
\nher body being split<\/p>\n
it was too much for me to see
\nthe sight the sounds the smell
\nher internal organs just unwrapping
\nas noisily they fell
\nout onto a butcher who happened
\nto be there
\na man not in my estimate
\nbut a fiend dressed up to scare<\/p>\n
whatever I do with the rest of my life
\nwhatever I ever see
\nI will not forget that cow
\nwho ended up in front of me
\nin that awful dark contraption
\nwho was tortured and killed
\nso we
\ncould fill our pristine poly trays
\nwith its flesh and blood and be<\/p>\n
holier than bloody thou
\non our culinary spree
\nto re create a wondrous dish
\nfor the whole family
\nthat cow was so affectionate
\ndying in such stress
\nand those last looks she gave me
\nleft me in a mess<\/p>\n
I never will forget her
\nthe disappointment there
\nhow very desolate she felt
\nknowing nobody did care
\nand having then to suffer
\nthe agony and pain
\nwhich would taint the flesh forever
