Who wouldn’t share a tear or two
\nwho wouldn’t see the light
\nknowing they were likely
\nto perish and the right
\nto live would be withdrawn
\nin fact death was on the cards
\nthe pound was going to carry out
\nthe sentence, a few yards
\nfrom where you were
\nat this moment
\ncontemplating it
\nof course you would try to get away
\nin your mind this would not sit
