There’s something going on in Greece
\ndogs are getting hung
\nmutilated thrown in crushers
\ntheir necks are being wrung
\nthrown into the ocean
\ntortured everyday
\nwhat the hell is happening
\nwhy do animals pay<\/p>\n
Human beings really
\nare caught up in this mess
\nbut animals are innocent
\nthey don’t have the redress
\nthey have to make the best of it
\nand the worst of it is they
\nare getting blamed and beaten
\nevery single day<\/p>\n
there’s hardly any good news
\njust a catalogue of bad
\nand I think that’s so very very
\nvery very sad.<\/p>\n
Today’s batch is a puppy dog
\nwhose owner chopped off its tail
\nimagine just how painful
\nthat is
\na bloody trail
\nwas left and lots of yelps and cries
\na tail is so expressive
\nand now to realise
\nthe dog will have to go through life
\nwith no tail he can wag
\nand all that fear and all that pain
\nbecause someone, lost their rag<\/p>\n
yesterday I heard 3 dogs were hung
\nupon a tree
\nsomeone took a rope to them
\nand hung them yes all 3
\nagain one can’t imagine
\nthose dogs yes one by one
\nwhat goes through a persons mind
\nall of them unsung<\/p>\n
heroes in so many ways
\nthe voiceless take it hard
\nGreece is in the doldrums
\nthat’s when they drop their guard
\nthese poor souls loyal and caring
\nare being made to feel
\nthat they are now the reason
\nfor the terror that is real<\/p>\n
another dog was found to have
\nnails bashed in its feet
\nto do this takes a monster
\ncould it be the heat
\nare these morons mental
\nwhat the hell is wrong
\ntorture on this scale
\nproves to me now all along<\/p>\n
That society is crumbling
\nthat normality is too
\nlaw and order and caring
\nand sharing
\nno one wants to do
\nselfishness and cruelty
\nhave risen to the fore
\nthe animals are victims
