“Sisnela” was a brave Steppe Eagle
\nresident of India who wintered by the
\nCaspian in January, He
\nWas a handsome fellow, his legs and cere were yellow
\nHis bill was grey and hooked
\nand growing continually
\nThe habitat he loved the steppe and semi
\ndeserts, where
\nFrom some 2 miles away he could see a rabbit
\nat her lair
\nFerocious he at hunting,once locked on a soul
\nHis speed was just fantastic, for he was in complete control.
\nWhen impressing the ladies
\nEagles often do lock talons and go free falling and can hit a tree or two<\/a>
\nWhich in his case<\/a> has resulted in a broken wing
\nBut fortunately in his case Lone Wolf
\nsaid he could bring
\nHim back with him to Tehran
\nWhere a wild vet seemingly
\nSpecialised in birds of prey
\nAnd could help him naturally<\/p>\n

Such a handsome warrior
\na wondrous sight in flight
\nhis acrobatics tempted man
\nTo join him at least, by sight
\nSo unique of feather
\nNobility of the sky
\nThe master of his habitat
\nWhich of course<\/a> was why
\nLone was so concerned to help
\nAnd did so recently
\nLets hope the eagle is on the mend
\nAnd once again will be
\nSoaring over Isfahan
\nin the thermals where
\nThose who see him marvel
\nat what is a bird so rare.<\/p>\n

How fortunate we are that Lone was on hand
\nand prepared to help.
