I think that all of us activists
\nthink along these lines
\nif AR lights our way for us
\nthen we watch out for the signs
\nof course there are pitfalls
\neverywhere
\nthe roads doneed repair
\nbut we are all up to it
\nand on face book we can share<\/p>\n
the animals are suffering
\neach day problems appear
\nsome go on the streets
\nsome write some sing
\nwe share it here
\nwe work with organizations
\nwe all fight the good fight
\nsome governments call us terrorists
\nand others call us shite<\/p>\n
are we really worried
\nof course it gets us down
\nthe cruelty is incessant
\nalmost every town
\nis guilty of the slaughter
\npounds and puppy mills
\nfarms and hunts and slaughterhouses
\nlots of bitter pills<\/p>\n
to swallow and we swallow
\npetition and we try
\nwe go out on the street
\nprotesting oh yea eye to eye
\nwrite to MP’s and congress
\nand to embassies abroad
\nso many causes come along
\nmore than we can afford<\/p>\n
but that doesn’t stop us doing
\nwe all join the affray
\nwe work hard for the animals
\nwhich has to be the way
\nmany of us are vegan
\nwe understand that life
\nis better in the long run
\nfor it cuts out lots of strife<\/p>\n
it helps with human illness
\nand waste and worst of all
\nit does cut down pollution
\nand the carbon that great haul
\ncoming from the cattle
\nfarting all the day
\ncreating massive methane
\nevery sick which way<\/p>\n
we take on all and sundry
\nthe corporates who try
\nand make their dirty money
\nand really do fight shy
\nof being very honest
\nthey tend to get away
\nwith cruelty and every other
\nmisdemeanor of the day<\/p>\n
we take a lot of shit on board
\nand it gets to us I agree
\nbut the power we have
\nin our tiny cells
\nreally helps us see
\nworking alone or with a group
\nwe can and do achieve
\nand in fact that keeps us going
\nas long as we believe<\/p>\n
we pair up
\nand support each other
\nthat’s glorious way
\nsharing grief its my belief
\nit lessens it okay
\nwe meet friends on the ether
\nlike minds who do share
\nthat why social media
