Creation saw a place
\nfor every creature
\nupon a planet
\nbuilt around the need
\nto share
\nto be aware
\nof every species
\nall was given attributes
\nall were asked to care<\/p>\n
what we see with Rhino’s
\nis a manifestation of evil
\nthe human earthling
\njustifies his actions
\nto himself
\nhe mutilates the iconic one’s
\nhacks away their face
\nsteals their horn
\nfor a little corn
\none of the human race<\/p>\n
he steps up and admits it
\na contagion that is he
\nhe will kill in cold blood anything
\nfor some of that money
\nhe doesn’t see the wrong he does
\nor that he is made to be
\na puppet for the gangsters
\nwho themselves can’t see
\nanything but money
\ncorruption and the rest
\ncreation
\nmachination
\nI promise I don’t jest<\/p>\n
these people often locals
\nwill be lured into the pool
\non a promise of big wages
\nand on that yes they drool
\nthis Rhino was a gallant soul
\nwho faced the wrath of man
\nintoxicated by a little wealth
\nwho became a fan
\nnot of the iconic Rhino
\nbut the money grabbing hordes
\nwho sell their souls for a few bucks
\nand perish on their swords<\/p>\n
The Rhino had to be put down
\ncan we imagine why
\nthe pain of having one’s face hacked off
\nby a mercenary, the lie
\nthat he was told about what he
\nwas doing
\nheld no sway
\nthat Rhino had to suffer
\nmutilation and to pay<\/p>\n
the price for human ignorance
\nselfishness and greed
\nso much like a prehistoric soul
\nbut like us it does bleed
\nregression of a species
\nwe see before our eyes
\ncorruption and perversion
\nand a loss of the true wise<\/p>\n
a wickedness apparent
\na deliverance of sorts
\ncan we extricate ourselves now
\nfrom the lowering of thoughts
\nfor the subterfuge and inarticulate
\nway the sick perform
\nthat sad beleaguered
\nRhino who faced the mounting storm<\/p>\n
despite the opposition
\nmoney of course talks
\ntoo many are prepared
\nto look the other way
\nwho walks
\nthis way or that way
\nno one knows
\nthey have eyes
\nbut fail to see
\nthey have ears
\nbut fail to use them
\nthey commit pure infamy<\/p>\n
the flesh is weak
\ncorruption impresses some
\nand they
\nfall victim to the
\ngreen notes
\nthat heighten their decay
\nthe challenge to confront
\na beast and startle it and be
\nable to overpower it
