I start off just by saying
\nthat I love the kangaroo
\nI have a special affinity for it
\nand its heartfelt through and through
\nhaving travelled through the vast lands
\nthrough the bush around the states
\nthere’s not a lot of them about
\nwhich certainly creates
\na sadness for this poet I must say
\nthe iconic one
\nwhose only found in Australia
\nin the bush under the sun<\/p>\n

Kangaroos the iconic one
\nis still feeling the wrath
\nof hunters killing them at night
\nits seems the football path
\nthey end up murdered and exploited
\nand its all done in the sun
\nthe joey’s mutilated
\nheads stomped on and they are gone
\nto me they have as much right
\nas Australians and they
\nshould share the land, its big enough
\nand not get in, each others way
\nNike and whoever
\nshould realise the power
\nshould appreciate the Kangaroo
\nis living under a shower
\nit doesn’t need this treatment
\nit doesn’t want this pain
\nall mothers have a feeling for their
\noffspring so again
\nto kill them and to leave
\nthem dead and dying on the ground
\nis evil, it is evil
\nin their own sweet blood their drowned
\nits because they have fine leather
\nthat fine leather is their skin
\nanyone who does this
\nmust realise the sin
\nis on their shoulders actually
\nfor the kangaroo is wild
\ncreated, by nature
\nit is the true wild child
\nhumanity will look unfavourably
\non you Today
\nthey are there to just be killed
\nin any blooming way
\nand so you let it carry on and on
\nand on and on
\nuntil I suppose like the Japanese
\nand the whales they all are gone
\ncommercialisation is killing
\nall the species known to man
\nthe Rhinocerus the Tiger
\nthe Elephant the plan
\nto slaughter every animal
\nthe walrus and the seal
\nthe kangaroo what can we do
