I get to thinking fashion
\nand exposure
\nstyle and freedom to truly create
\nsomething wonderful that people
\nwish to wear
\nto almost well to sort of
\nemulate<\/p>\n
but do we really want to be
\nlike those souls
\nwho are they anyway
\nwhat do they feel
\nwe wear their clothes
\nwe kind of like their label
\nbut does it really truthfully
\nappeal<\/p>\n
do we take on those
\nfine characteristics
\ndoes the shadow that they cast
\nbecome
\nwho we are or who we
\nmight ascribe to be
\nwhy is it we believe
\nwe could have some<\/p>\n
some of what they are
\nand do we really
\nwant to take on
\nthat persona anyway
\nand to hear that
\nthat designer incorporates
\ndog fur and
\nthat he makes the
\nsweet loyal canines pay<\/p>\n
breaks my heart like
\nlike the finest ever crystal
\nhow is it possible
\nthat I could be
\ndrawn into a look
\nthat encompasses such a thought
\nthat shows me that heart was wrong
\nto see<\/p>\n
those dogs who roamed
\nwherever became sacrificial lambs
\nthey never knew why
\nneither now can I
\nrealise how strange I feel
\nthat their skin touches my skin
\nand its because of you
\nwe now both die<\/p>\n
How it came to be
\nit matters not a jot
\nthe aura that is you
\napparently
\nfound its way into my very being
\ninto my eyes
\nallowing me to see<\/p>\n
Designer you aligned
\nyour spirit to mine
\nDesigner all that trust
\nI had in you
\nis broken now
\nin many tiny pieces
\nand I am able
\nto really take the view<\/p>\n
the sadness and the
\nunabated solace
\nthat now I share
\nbecause of what I hear
\none of the furry brethren
\nare now hiding in your aura
\nand I now confirm
\nso is its tear<\/p>\n
apparent in my eye
\nand that’s forever
\nfor never will I wear
\nyour clothes again
\nnever will I trust
\nin your fine judgement
