I just can’t believe what I’m seeing
\nat present
\nin crowded hot streets
\nall manner of sights
\nthere’s a young naked women
\nbeing pawed everywhere
\nsmeared with blood from some bull
\nand what of their rights<\/p>\n
society gathers descending into
\nthe gutters of god knows where
\nwhat can we do
\nto lift up our spirits
\nand try to refrain
\nfrom this orgy of lust
\nwith its roots in the drain<\/p>\n
this raucous and dissonant
\ndarkly display
\ncarnal displeasure
\ndefilement a way
\nout of
\nthe sanity of what we do
\ninto a wantonness
\nwithout virtue<\/p>\n
the blood of a tortured
\nbull spread on her skin
\nimpure as the day is long
\nthe nights drawing in
\nshamefulness surfaces
\nat the, crowds behest
\nout of their minds
\nas some cling to her breast<\/p>\n
licentiousness clearly
\nsees a mass violation
\nof what should be beautiful
\nin all creation<\/p>\n
but what has turned into
\na debauched display
\na lustful and prurient
\nprovocative play
\non seducing the spirit
\nand ravishing thought
\nan adaptation which clearly
\nhas caught
\nevery emotion its wicked
\nand wrong
\nand not where our spirit
\nshould ever belong<\/p>\n
we are it seems doomed
\nas we lower ourselves
\ndown into the abyss
\nwhere the lower life delves
\nin the muddy morass
\nwhere the quick sands do swallow
