The cow’s
\nso hard done by
\nShe’s worked till she drops
\ncreating a milk supply
\nthat clearly tops
\ninduced with recombitant
\nbovine growth hormone
\nto exceed all creation
\ninto the bleak unknown<\/p>\n
put upon, slapped about
\nraped, beaten down
\nlocked into concrete
\nyes we go to town
\non tearing the heart out
\nof every poor cow
\nwho is docile and sweet
\nbut now sadly how<\/p>\n
we all have to ask ourselves
\nwhat is now done
\nto this wonderful ungulate
\nand to each son
\nshe bears
\nkidnapped,killed as she cries
\nfrom her heart
\nas her udder
\nmust grow to a size
\nto impart<\/p>\n
more stress upon her
\nan outpouring of stress
\nshe can see
\nshe can feel
\nthe machines
\ncan’t redress
\nhooked up to the pain
\nsucking her udders dry
\nand she still may hear
\nher poor baby
\n cry<\/p>\n
and of course hear the clink
\nof the bottles and packs
\nas the Diary comes forward
\nto help her relax
\nwith more rape
\nand more torture
\nand ongoing tale
\nand knowing at the end of it all
\nshe would fail<\/p>\n
her calf would be gone
\nin the flick of her tail
\nas the slaughter gates open
\nshe hits the trail
\nshe might not be able to
\nwalk very far
\nbut they would man handle
\nher and she would star<\/p>\n
in the great horror
\nmovie that plays out each day
\nas these cows are strung
\nup
\nand are made to pay
\ntheir throats slit
\ntheir trachea just torn away
\nand left there to bleed out
\nin utter dismay<\/p>\n
this the reward for 4 years
\nof Hell
\nout of the time span
\nwhich creation did spell
\nnot much more than a child
\nbut having to go
\nto her death so that we
\ncan enjoy, what we know<\/p>\n
her skin for our sofa
\nher flesh and her bone
\nwe can roast boil and fry
\nfor the seeds we have sown
\nmay acidify all our digestions and we
\nmight regret what we ate
\nin the end and just be<\/p>\n
out of our depth
\nin the big scheme of things
\nas poor sweet cows die
\nand the great total brings
\nso much pain and suffering
\nto all earthlings who
\nsuffer in silence
