Australia its evident
\nits a selfish point
\nof view
\nto murder those iconic souls
\nthe wondrous Kangaroo
\nand not feel sick inside
\nyourselves
\nor even contemplate
\nmass slaughter just how dreadful
\nit is and at a rate<\/p>\n

\nhaving travelled the length and
\nbreadth of your huge continent
\nto see
\ninto this vile scenario
\nI was forced to be
\nvast desolated areas
\ndevoid of wild life seem
\nto conjure up such feelings
\nof a quite nightmarish dream<\/p>\n
The Kangaroo, is Australia
\nlife in the bush meant they
\ntook it on themselves to live
\nthey were put there and they pay
\nfor the ignorance and arrogance
\nof the human un kind tribe
\nwho slaughter them in their thousands
\nand then try to describe<\/p>\n
their feelings and their reasons
\ntheir prejudice some see
\nbut inside the great Australians
\naccept that it has to be
\nof course they hadn’t thought it through
\nin the cities they live in fear
\nKangaroo’s are in the Bush
\nand the bush we have to clear<\/p>\n
fracking backing oil men
\nto dig into our shale
\nto pull out all that natural gas
\nI mean we must not fail
\nthe cities are expanding
\nwe need our country homes
\nthe kangaroos are bloody nuisance
\non them already tomes<\/p>\n
there’s always those who
\nhaven’t got a clue about the place
\nwho make the big decisions
\nand that is a disgrace
\nAustralia must remember
\nwhat a resource they are
\nkill them at your peril
\nfor you yourself now scar<\/p>\n
the land that’s called Australia
\nfor littered everywhere
\nwe see the bodies of those souls
\nthat prove some do not care
\nto remember where your place is
\nand why you must protect
\nthe iconic one and really
\nnot be circumspect<\/p>\n
show courage in the face
\nof what is pure and simply those
\ncorporation giants
\nwhose power of course it grows
\nputting pressure really
\non the clutter of the few
\nwhat is seen as viable
\nand really what to do<\/p>\n
I urge you to think on this
\neach Australian must say
\nwhat you are now losing
\nis really not the way
\nsacrificing wild life
\nfor a perceived wealth is sad
\nof course there are no benefits
